New York Red Bulls – Philadelphia Union 4.00 PM EST – TELEFUTURA

CHRIS PICK: Union with draw X2 at rate 1.90

“Anything New York/New Jersey-Philly is always great. Whether it’s a soccer game or a pizza-cooking contest, it’s always a rivalry. It’s great for the league, it’ll be a great atmosphere, with cities with such a great rivalry in close proximity joining Giants-Eagles, Mets-Phillies.” – sais Red Bulls defender Mike Petki who was raised in Bohemia, lives in Monmouth County and is married to a Philadelphian.

Sons of Ben expected to bring 350-450 fans to Red Bulls Arena for the first MLS derby between those 2 teams. Despite of the recent results, both teams going two different directions and this time Union will be on the driver seat

New England Revolution – Colorado Rapids 7.30 PM – DIRECT TV

CHRIS PICK: Rapids with draw X2 at rate 2.00

Shalrie Joseph, because of injury he is doubt for today game, he tried to practice yesterday but “I gave it a try and I still don’t like where it is,” Joseph said. “I’m going to go ice it and treat it and pray for a miracle for tomorrow.” – he said.

“He’s joined in today for the first time in two weeks,” Revs coach Steve Nicol said. “That’s all it is. We don’t expect him to play.” Rapids won last game against Toronto but did not impressed, however they seem to look better at the time and will pick them with draw

Columbus Crew – Real Salt Lake 7.30 pm – DIRECT TV

CHRIS PICK: CREW 1 at rate 1.80

Crew is one my big favorites this weekend. OK I know they playing the MLS Champions. Last year in the playoffs with huge amount of luck Real beat Crew twice, but Columbus team played 12 games within 6 weeks and RSL about 4. This time with fresh legs, Crew will dominate Real and everything but their sure win, will be surprise.

Kansas City Wizards – Los Angeles Galaxy 8.30 PM – DIRECT TV

CHRIS PICK: GALAXY 2 at rate 2.80

This might get ugly. On paper, this looks like a fast-paced offensive matchup. Of course, in reality, these are two of the most persistent fouling teams in the MLS. Los Angeles averages 14 fouls committed per game, while KC tallies 15.5. This will be a pressure-packed game with players not afraid to go in hard. (The Galaxy are third in yellow cards, with 8.) Don’t expect flowing attacks. Don’t expect a lot of goals either.

Wizards are good team so far this season we can say only positives about them. However without injured key defender Jimmy Conrad and Edson Buddle scoring like a crazy is hard to believe that Galaxy will have problem winning in KC by at least one goal.

Chicago Fire – Houston Dynamo8.30 PM – DIRECT TV

CHRIS PICK: Dynamo with draw X2 at rate 1.85

Houston has never lost at Toyota Park, going 3-0-1, and it is playing well entering this meeting. The Dynamo are off to the best four-game start in team history, topping their 2-2-0 record in 2006.Fire defense will be tested big time by solid Dynamo side. Dominic Kinnear side will come back to Houston with at least a point.

Chivas USA – San Jose Earthquakes 10.30 PM – FOX SOCCER CHANNEL

CHRIS PICK: Earthquakes with draw X2 at rate 1.975

Having lost three of its first four games and having been shut out in each of them, Chivas USA needs to get things sorted out. Earthquakes are on fire and after watching their last two games is hard to imagine that they can lost with disorganized Chivas. The only problem for the Quakes will be size of the field, because The Home Depot Center pitch is way larger than on Buck Shaw stadium. Bookmakers for straight bet on Earthquakes win pay 4.33 to 1.00, which looks like gift really, but I will take their win and support with draw.

Toronto FC – Seattle SoundersSUNDAY –

CHRIS PICK: Earthquakes with draw X2 at rate 1.975

Toronto FC began play in 2007 as one of the most surprising stories in Canadian sport, filling its soccer-specific stadium on the shore of Lake Ontario with a band of passionate fans. The support has survived three years of disappointment, with Anselmi saying there are 17,000 fans left on the waiting list for season tickets. They must improve asap, however with all the respect to their fans and the team, in order to beat Sounders on this Sunday some kind of miracle will have to happen (ie. Some penalty, red card ect). If there wont be any weird acts I Sounders will go home with at least a draw, but they should be able to win in Toronto.

CHRIS PICKS  this season 1812 = accuracy  60 %
