I am picking Dynamo to win and all the visitors to win or at least draw on this “Cinco de mayo” MLS Wednesday. Will United finally win the game? I am sorry D.C. fans, but not this time.

D.C. United – Kansas City Wizards 7.00 PM (ESPN2 / ESPN Deportes / ESPN360.com)

After conceding just one goal over the first four games of the season, the Wizards allowed three goals in their visit to Houston. However comparing Houston team to United at this moment is like racing in brand new sports car with competitor on old bicycle. KC played 10 man in Houston and Dynamo is always strong at home. Wizards will try to win and have D.C. team get close to their record from 1999.  D.C. United’s 0-5 start is the worst in club history, and the third-worst in MLS history, behind the Kansas City Wizards (0-7 in 1999, two by shootout) and the New England Revolution in 2001 (0-6). I really  think that United will be 0-6 this evening and it could be one the last game of Curt Onalfo there. Wizards will play without Davy Arnaud (red card in last game), but they have long bench plus some of the KC players really hate their former coach Curt Onalfo, who now is coaching United. I don’t see D.C. winning this game, unless some miracle penalty, red cards ect, but referee Alex Prus usually keep the game under control.

CHRIS PICK: X2 WIZARDS at rate 1.95

New England Revolution – Chivas USA –  7:30 p.m. (MLS Direct Kick)

Injury, personal absences and Jeff Gontarek, referee who showed two red cards to New England Revolution, have demolished Revs roster. However, the Revolution have never lost to Chivas USA at Gillette Stadium. In five all-time meetings in Foxborough, the Revolution have won four, the last two by shutout. Today would be different story, not that Chivas USA is that much better, but experience will play role in this game and this will be visitors advantage. It’s Cinco de mayo, so viva la Chivas and I will take the Goats with draw.

CHRIS PICK: X2 Chivas USA  at rate 1.825

Houston Dynamo – FC Dallas 9 p.m. (MLS Direct Kick)

The in-state rivals are meeting for the second and final time this regular season. They played to a 1-1 draw on March 27 at Pizza Hut Park on First Kick 2010. Despite holding a man advantage for nearly the entire second half, and a two-man advantage for the final 18 minutes, FC Dallas were unable to leave New England with their first victory. A season ago, FC Dallas won just one of their opening 10 matches, and fell a point short of qualifying for the MLS Cup Playoffs. Nothing better this season, although they played some decent games. Texas derby is always difficult to predict, but this time I have no doubt, Dominic Kinnear and his team will celebrate another victory.

CHRIS PICK: 1 Dynamo at rate 1.80

Colorado Rapids – Los Angeles Galaxy 9:30 p.m. (MLS Direct Kick)

This is one of the most difficult game for picking the winner and ESPN wish they have this one on the air this Wednesday. We all know that Edson Buddle and the Galaxy are red hot, but they have not won in Colorado in regular season for almost 8 years. Last time Galaxy got 3 points in Colorado was July 13, 2002, a 3-1 win at Invesco Field at Mile High. The Rapids have won eight of the last 12 league meetings at home, and three of the four meetings all-time at Dick’s Sporting Goods Park. Claudio Lopez made his league debut for Colorado, coming on as a substitute against San Jose, but was not a factor and I think he will be more distraction than atraction. So much will depend from the ref, keep in mind that over 30 percent goals for Rapids this season they scored from the penalty kicks. I am debating between picking straight Galaxy to win or give them some support with the draw. The Galaxy now are clearly the best side in MLS, but they playing in Colorado so just in case I will support them with tie.

CHRIS PICK: X2 GALAXY at rate 1.80
