U.S. Women Defeat Guatemala 13-0 in Second Group B Match

The U.S. Women’s National Team saw another five-goal game from a forward as Sydney Leroux scored five in her hometown in a 13-0 win against Guatemala.

VANCOUVER, Canada (Jan. 22, 2012) — The U.S. Women’s National Team saw another five-goal game from a forward as Sydney Leroux scored five in her hometown in a 13-0 win against Guatemala.

Also scoring were Abby Wambach (3), Lauren Cheney, Amy Rodriguez, Carli Lloyd, Lori Lindsey, Megan Rapinoe and Alex Morgan.

The U.S. will face Mexico for the Group B title on Tuesday, Jan. 24, at 10:30 p.m. ET on Universal Sports Network, universalsports.com and concacaf.com.
