U-17 WNT Opens World Cup Qualifying with Convincing Win Against Bahamas

The U.S. U-17 Women’s National Team got off to a flying start the CONCACAF U-17 Women’s Championship with an 10-0 win against the Bahamas on Thursday. A Margaret Purce goal after 39 seconds and Summer Green’s five tallies paved the way for head coach Albertin Montoya’s young team. The USA takes on Trinidad Tobago on May 5 at 4 p.m. ET in the second game of Group B play in Guatemala City.

GUATEMALA CITY, Guatemala (May 3, 2012) – The U.S. U-17 Women’s National Team got off to a flying start the CONCACAF U-17 Women’s Championship with an 10-0 win against the Bahamas on Thursday.
