YEVPATORIYA, Ukraine (May 3, 2012) – The U.S. Paralympic National Team opened its camp in Ukraine with a 9-0 loss against a highly favored Iran side.
Iran justified their position as one of the best sides in the world, jumping out to a 6-0 lead in the first half. The USA battled hard in the second half, holding Iran off while generating a few chances of their own.
The USA next faces Argentina on May 4 in their second match of the tour.
