MLS Wednesday Preview, Picks and Predictions

11th week of my MLS Predictions starting this Wednesday in Kansas City, where MLS Cup Champions and Eastern Conference leaders Sporting hosting winless in last 9 games Philadelphia Union. Favorite shouldn’t have problem winning it, and the only question seem to be the size of their victory. Just in case I’m counting on high scoring game.

Keep in mind I’m not even 40 % in my accuracy this season, but I have been their before. I’m not blaming my self for my predictions, but the players, and sometimes referees, most of the time is their fault.:)

However, despite poor start of the campaign, I’m confident trough the season, I should be able to get back to over 50%, but obvious goal is to cross 54% as earlier as possible.

Current Week 11 record 31 (accuracy 75.00 % )

Last Week 10 record 1112 (accuracy 47.82 % )

2014 MLS Predictions record 71106 (accuracy 40.11 % )

Picks and predictions are usually published here at least 1-2 hours before the game time.

Sporting Kansas City vs. Philadelphia Union 1-2

Dom Dwyer had his second 2-goal game of the season and Sporting KC won by shutout for a second consecutive match in their 3-0 win at Montréal on Saturday afternoon.
Union had their winless streak extended to nine games with their 1-0 home loss to D.C. United on Saturday, setting a club record.
What’s interesting the teams met three times a season ago – and the road team won on all three occasions, the first road victories ever in the all-time series. Union won 1-0 on Sept. 27 in the only meeting at Sporting Park.I don’t expect Union all the sudden to change their fortune in Kansas City, where Sporting knows in order to stay up top on the East they have to win it.

Both teams will play without their World Cup players, so expect some serious lineup rotations, and goals are usually consequences of such changes.
CHRIS’S PREDICTION: Sporting to WIN
CHRIS’S PREDICTION: OVER 2.5 goals

MONTREAL IMPACT vs. FC EDMONTON 4-2

Canadian Championship Match This is my extra pick, of second leg Amway Canadian Championship match. Montreal Impact is in deep crisis, they lost first leg 1-2, but playing at home they are heavy favorites.
There is way more at stake than just a Canadian Championship final, Impact coaching staff cannot afford to not to win this one.

CHRIS’S PREDICTION: Montreal to WIN
CHRIS’S PREDICTION: OVER 2.5 goals
