MLS Week 15 Preview, Picks and Predictions

MLS is back from the World Cup break. Last Wednesday MLS season restarted in Vancouver, where Whitecaps and Montreal Impact played for scoreless draw.

On Friday we have MLS heavyweights clashing in Portland and New York, and host teams are my favorites this Friday.

Keep in mind I’m not even 40 % in my accuracy this season, but I have been their before. I’m not blaming my self for my predictions, but the players, and sometimes referees, most of the time is their fault.:)

However, despite poor start of the campaign, I’m confident trough the season, I should be able to get back to over 50%, but obvious goal is to cross 54% as earlier as possible.

Current Week 15 record 1117 (accuracy 39.28 % )

Last Week 14 record 816 (accuracy 33.33 % )

2014 MLS Predictions record 116176 (accuracy 39.73 % )

Picks and predictions are usually published here at least 1-2 hours before the game time.

Luis Silva scored his first career hat trick to lead United to a 4-2 win at the Montréal Impact on June 11 in the final game before the World Cup break
United have lost just once in their last seven league matches and now lead the Eastern Conference with 25 points – the first time since midway through the 2012 season they have been atop the division.

The Revolution have lost back-to-back games for the first time since dropping the opening two matches of the season, following their 2-0 home loss to New York on June 8.

Conor Casey has scored two goals in each of the last two matches, his first four goals this season. Union have scored a season-high three goals in both of those games.
The teams are meeting for the third time this season. The Revolution claimed a wild 5-3 victory May 17 at PPL Park as five different New England players scored goals; Sebastien Le Toux scored the game’s only goal for a Union win March 15 in Chester.
The victory in the last meeting was the first ever for the Revolution at PPL Park in seven visits all-time. The Revs are undefeated in their last three home games vs. Philadelphia, including victories last year in both meetings at Gillette Stadium.
