MLS Week 27 Preview, Picks and Predictions

2014 U.S. Open Cup winners Seattle Sounders, after victory celebration visiting New York Red Bulls in one of the most interesting games of the weekend. The Sounders competitors for the best on the west title. In the match of the week the Galaxy and FC Dallas facing each other in Los Angeles, and yes expect some goals there.

Timbers, Red Bulls, Union and Impact are my favorites to win their matches, I also anticipate high scoring matches in Los Angeles, Portland and Montreal.

Current Week 27 record 148 (accuracy 63.63 % )

Last Week 26 record 1311 (accuracy 54.17 % )

2014 MLS Predictions record 254298 (accuracy 46.01 % )

*Keep in mind I’m only around 45 % in my accuracy this season, but I have been there before. I’m not blaming my self for my predictions, but the players, and sometimes referees, most of the time is their fault.:)

However, despite poor start of the campaign, I’m confident trough the season, I should be able to get back to over 50%, but obvious goal is to cross 54% as earlier as possible.

Picks and predictions are usually published here at least 1-2 hours before the game time.

PORTLAND TIMBERS vs VANCOUVER WHITECAPS 3-0

Diego Valeri had a goal and an assist as the Timbers came back for a 2-2 draw at Colorado on Saturday. Valeri has four assists over the last three games and now has 13 this season, tied for second in MLS behind Landon Donovan’s 15. Valeri led MLS with 13 assists a season ago.
Mauro Rosales had his first assist since coming to Whitecaps FC in a trade with Chivas USA, but still saw his new team go down to a 2-1 defeat at FC Dallas on Saturday.

On June 1 at Providence Park, Pedro Morales scored twice as Whitecaps FC withstood a second-half charge from the Timbers before taking a 4-3 victory.
The win in the first meeting was the first for Whitecaps FC against the Timbers since the two teams have played in MLS competition. The Timbers have won five of the first 10 meetings all-time, including three of the five contests at BC Place.
