MLS Wednesday Preview, Picks and Predictions

Two MLS Wednesday matches with playoffs on line, starting week number 30 in my MLS Predictions. Good game is expected in Toronto, where both teams are in must win situation. In second game Timbers should be able to easy cash three points on struggling Earthquakes.

Home teams Toronto FC and Timbers are my favorites to win their midweek games, more than 2 goals expected in both matches.

Current Week 30 record 00 (accuracy 50.00 % )

Last Week 29 record 137 (accuracy 65.00 % )

2014 MLS Predictions record 282313 (accuracy 47.40 % )

*Keep in mind I’m only around 47 % in my accuracy this season, but I have been there before. I’m not blaming my self for my predictions, but the players, and sometimes referees, most of the time is their fault.:)

However, despite poor start of the campaign, I’m confident trough the season, I should be able to get back to over 50%, but obvious goal is to cross 54% as earlier as possible.

Picks and predictions are usually published here at least 1-2 hours before the game time.

Wednesday, October 8

Toronto FC suffered their first loss in three games – after back-to-back wins – in a 3-0 defeat at the LA Galaxy on Saturday evening, but currently not many MLS teams can compete with Bruce Arenas gang.
The Dynamo had their five-game undefeated streak – their longest of the season – put to an end in a 1-0 loss at the New York Red Bulls on Saturday. The game where they have been so close to come with at least a tie.
The teams are meeting for the third time this season, after playing in a home-and-home series over two weekends July 12-19. Jermain Defoe scored twice in the second half as TFC came back from a 2-goal deficit for a 4-2 victory at BMO Field in the first match; Brad Davis scored twice for the Dynamo in the return match, but the teams settled for a 2-2 draw at BBVA Compass Stadium.
The teams have played to draws in four of their last five meetings, including the first encounter this year at BMO Field. TFC has come away from Houston with points on each of their last four visits, though they have not won there since 2010.
Houston Dynamo going to be ready for TFC, but home field advantage should play the role.

The Timbers are heavy favorites, and I’m confident they will win in convincing way. They are simply better team.

The Earthquakes are absolute disaster right now, plus their top striker Chris Wondolowski got call from U.S. National Team coach Juergen Klinsmann, so will not play in Portland, which makes the Timbers super favorite to win.
