SEATTLE SOUNDERS vs. FC DALLAS, 10.30 PM
After winning in impressive style 2014 Supporters’ Shield Seattle Sounders FC are intending to past the first obstacle in the MLS Cup Playoffs when they take FC Dallas on Monday evening at Centurylink Field.
Sounders FC are obvious favorite in the return match, leaving Toyota Stadium having gained a significant advantage with away goal as team arrived from 1-1 draw a weekend ago.
After winning U.S. Open Cup, and Supporters’ Shield the Sounders are intending to finish the first-ever treble in U.S. soccer history by winning 2014 MLS Cup. First they have to advance to MLS Cup final, which they’ve never played previously. FC Dallas are looking to advance to the final for the second time in club history.
The scoreless draw in this match will benefit Sounders, based on away goal scored in 1-1 tie in first leg.
FC Dallas has won just once in Seattle – a 1-0 win on May 25, 2011. Sounders FC have won the last four meetings between the teams at CenturyLink Field.
“I have heard many times that Seattle is the best team in the league and they have achieved two trophies this year and that’s the club that everyone is expecting to win it, but we’ll see,” said FC Dallas head coach Oscar Pareja. “Not that we can’t do it. I know that we can do it. This group of players can do it.” – assuring FC Dallas head coach.
I have hard time imagine Sounders not to win this match, but things always happen when you not expecting them. FC Dallas are in clear must score situation, and they have enough offensive power to do so.
