(June 14, 2011) – The U.S. Men’s National Team advanced to the quarterfinals of the 2011 CONCACAF Gold Cup this evening with a dominating 1-0 victory against Guadeloupe at LIVESTRONG Sporting Park in their third and final Group C match. MIAMI (Tuesday, May 3, 2011) – Jack Warner was unanimously re-elected as President of CONCACAF today at the Confederation's 27th Ordinary Congress in Miami. Warner, a FIFA Vice President, ran un-opposed and is returning for his sixth-consecutive term. The Congress was part of the Confederation's year-long 50th anniversary celebration and featured the presence of FIFA President Sepp Blatter who has attended every CONCACAF Congress over the past twenty years. Last year, the International Football Association Board (IFAB) - which makes the rules that govern the game - voted 6-2 against introducing technology that would show if the ball had crossed the goal-line.
