PASADENA, Calif. (June 25, 2011) – The U.S. Men’s National Team lost to Mexico 4-2 in the final of the 2011 CONCACAF Gold Cup in a thrilling encounter in front of more than 93,000 at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, Calif., on Saturday.
The USA opened the scoring with goals from Michael Bradley and Landon Donovan to jump out to a 2-0 lead, but Mexico followed with four unanswered goals to earn its second straight Gold Cup title.

HARRISON, New Jersey – Carlos Ruiz’s second-half goal put Guatemala into the Gold Cup quarterfinals as it dominated Grenada 4-0 on Monday in both teams’ final Group B match.
Needing a three-goal win to assure itself of advancing, Guatemala scored twice in the first 22 minutes and then provisionally put itself into the knockout round when Ruiz knocked in a rebound in the 54th.

(June 11, 2011) – The U.S. Men’s National Team lost their first ever match in CONCACAF Gold Cup group play this evening with a 2-1 loss to Panama at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa Bay, Fla. The loss, which was also the first against Panama, puts the U.S. in second place with one match left to play in Group C action.
The U.S. takes on Guadeloupe on Tuesday, June 14 at LIVESTRONG Sporting Park in Kansas City, Kan. Kickoff for the match is 8 p.m. CT, and the match can be seen live on Fox Soccer and TeleFutura. Fox Soccer will also have a 30-minute pre-game show beginning at 7:30 p.m. CT

DETROIT (June 7, 2011) – The U.S. Men’s National Team opened the 2011 CONCACAF Gold Cup with a well-earned 2-0 victory against Canada at Ford Field in Detroit on Tuesday night.
Goals from Jozy Altidore and Clint Dempsey paced the U.S. while goalkeeper Tim Howard made several superb saves in the second half to earn his 21st career shutout. Seven players – including Altidore – made their first appearance in the Gold Cup for the U.S., who ascended to the top of Group C with the win.
