The Confederation of North, Central America and Caribbean Association Football (CONCACAF) announced the 2013 CONCACAF Gold Cup groups and schedule, as well as awarded the 2013 Gold Cup final to the City of Chicago and Soldier Field, to be played on Sunday, July 28, 2013 at 4pm EST. CHICAGO (June 27, 2013) - U.S. Men's National Team head coach Jurgen Klinsmann has selected the 23 players that will represent the United States in the 2013 CONCACAF Gold Cup. Competing in the tournament for the 12th time, the U.S. seeks its fifth confederation championship title. The winner of the 2013 Gold Cup will compete in a playoff with the winner of the 2015 event for the right to represent CONCACAF at the 2017 FIFA Confederations Cup.
