Match of the weekend Sounders vs RSL will take place in Seattle, but don’t expect many goals there. If you looking for high scoring games, we should see some goals in Houston and San Jose. I picked Impact and Crew to get their home wins. I also believe that Union will give hard time to the Red Bulls at PPL Park, and I will not be shocked if Philadelphia finish with the win.
After perfect Wednesday and awesome 3-0 start into 10th week of my MLS Predictions. This weekend matched are tough and challenging to make prognosis, but with my picks below you should be able to end this week on positive note.

Top teams from the East clashing this Saturday with leaders from the West. MLS game of the week will take place in Kansas City where Sporting, the only team with perfect record this season, will face rock solid Real Salt Lake. Red hot Red Bulls hosting all the sudden consistent team from San Jose. There is nothing sure about soccer, but when Thierry Henry meets Chris Wondolowski, goals in this match are almost guarantee. However not everywhere will be as colorful. Other than Earthquakes visit at Red Bull Arena, on rest of the venues I am anticipating low scoring weekend, with Seattle Sounders, LA Galaxy and FC Dallas as my heavy favorites to win their matches.

MLS Weekend Predictions Just as predicted Montreal Impact with their historic first win in Major League Soccer 2-1 vs Toronto FC, I was also correct about the Earthquakes. However no goals in Washington, underperforming and unlucky Rapids and upset of the week – Timbers loss at home to Chivas USA damaged my …READ MORE

Alexi Lalas, a rock n’ roll star

Alexi Lalas: “I’m living proof of the impact the World Cup can have on someone. It changed my life,” said the self-styled showman, who, with his flowing locks and rock-star beard, epitomised the carefree attitude of a spirited side that held its own against the world’s best, despite the USA’s lack of a professional domestic league.

MLS Weekend Preview, Picks and Predictions

With his two goals Saturday against the New England Revolution, Chris Wondolowski of the San Jose Earthquakes pulled into a tie for the lead in the Budweiser MLS Golden Boot standings with 14 goals, along with Dwayne De Rosario of D.C. United and Thierry Henry of the New York Red Bulls.
Wondolowski has scored six goals in the last seven games, and this is the second consecutive season he has made a late charge. A year ago, he scored 10 goals over the final eight games of the season to win the Golden Boot, finishing with 18 goals. No player in MLS history has won the goalscoring title outright in back-to-back seasons; in 2003, Carlos Ruiz tied for the overall lead with Taylor Twellman after winning the honor in 2002, and Stern John finished in a three-way tie in 1999 after scoring the most goals in 1998.
