Real Madrid coach Jose Mourinho has been suspended for the next 5 UEFA club competition matches

UEFA’s Control and Disciplinary Body has rendered its verdicts on the proceedings relating to the UEFA Champions League semi-final first leg between Real Madrid CF and FC Barcelona.
Madrid coach José Mourinho, who was dismissed from the bench in the first leg and made an inappropriate statement at the post-match interview, has been suspended for the next five UEFA club competition matches for which he would otherwise be eligible. The suspension includes the one-match ban for the match following the coach’s dismissal, which was served for the return leg in Barcelona on Tuesday. The fifth match suspension is for a probationary period of three years. Mourinho also known as “The Special One” has also been fined €50,000.

UPDATE Tickets for UEFA Champions League Final running from $2,943 US

UEFA announced in London that the ticket sales for the UEFA Champions League Final 2011, to be played at the Wembley Stadium in London on Saturday 28 May at 19.45 local time, will commence on Thursday 24 February at 12.00 CET exclusively via Europe’s football website UEFA.com
The general public will be able to apply for up to two tickets per applicant from an allocation of 11,000 tickets between 24 February 12.00 CET to 18 March 2011 18.00 CET. Once the application period has finished, allocation will be decided by lottery and every valid application will enter the ballot, independent of the time of submission within the application period.
