MLS – Brandon McDonald signed new multiyear contract with D.C. United

Washington, D.C. (August 23, 2011) - D.C. United announced today the club has signed defender Brandon McDonald to a new contract. Since being acquired from the San Jose Earthquakes for allocation money on June 27, the central defender has become a crucial part of United’s defensive success. McDonald has played in nine matches since joining United, starting each of those contests. In that span, the 25-year-old has helped the club to a 3-2-4 record, including four shutout performances. San Jose Earthquakes to Host English Premier League’s West Bromwich Albion – Tomorrow July 12 at Buck Shaw Stadium

The San Jose Earthquakes announced today that the club will host West Bromwich Albion from the English Premier League (EPL) on Tuesday, July 12 at Buck Shaw Stadium at 7:30 p.m. PT. Season ticket holders should use their Bonus Game “B” ticket for the match. Season ticket holders will also be able to purchase additional individual and group tickets from Tuesday, May 10 until tickets go on sale to the general public on Thursday. Prices for individual seats range from $20 to $50 - TICKETS ON SALE “Between the match against the New York Red Bulls on July 2 at Stanford Stadium and West Brom on July 12, Bay Area soccer fans have an entertaining summer to look forward to,” said Earthquakes President David Kaval. “West Brom has a rich history dating back to earliest days of English association football and we are excited to have the opportunity to play them here in Soccer City USA.” Read More »
